Rob Keene Microflight expert Learn to fly a microlight aircraft with Rob who has been flying these fabulous machines for almost 30 years!

Due their relative low cost (compared to light aircraft) microlights have now enabled many people to help realise their dreams of flight.

Gone are the days when a microlight was a basic hang-glider with a noisy engine. Now the modern machine is a sophisticated aircraft which can take 2 people and luggage, and can fly for several hours before fuelling (Rob has flown from the UK to Italy in a 12 hour day needing only 3 stops).

Rob took part in the World Air Games in Dubai in December 2015.

Rob was one of 6 UK pilots along with his son Rees.  The UK team flew two Quik R microlights and the whole team were in the top eight. Rob came 6th and his son was 3rd.

This photo was taken of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, at 2700ft high, still 1000ft higher than the microlight.
