Rob is now available to teach Microlight flying from Over Farm, as well as in France, near Toulouse, where the weather is generally more settled, which makes learning much easier.
Accommodation is available in France and in the UK, if required.
There are daily flights from Bristol to Toulouse, which is only an hour away. Rob’s wishes to teach people both at Over Farm and in Southern France where, along with his wife Sue spend much of the summer. The reason for this, is that the weather is more reliable in France, so training is less interrupted by the often frustrating UK weather.
Whether the training takes place in the UK or France, Rob is hoping to encourage students to book a week’s course, as he feels that more progress is made when students focus their efforts entirely on flying for a week. Normally 10 hours flight training should be possible within a week, especially in Southern France!
For those who live far away, Rob and Sue are fortunate to have plenty of accommodation in the farmhouse, so can offer half or full board as an option, if required.
Having said this, Rob is still very happy to offer training an hour at a time, for those who cannot commit to a week’s course.
We offer B&B at our home, which is 25 minutes away from the airfield.
B&B charge is £40 per night per person or £70 per couple, all towels inclusive. This price also includes the use of the pool & pool towels, and bicycles. Tea and coffee is available all day and the kitchen is available for guests to use as required, if they would like to prepare their own meals. WiFi is available throughout the house. A two course evening meal can be prepared for £20/ person inclusive of beer and wine.
Alternative accommodation can arranged nearer the airfield, as it is only 5km from the town of Montauban, where there are many other options.
Camping is available on the airfield for €10 per night. However a car would really be required as there are no shops within easy walking distance.
